…I was really happy when I saw how friendly and nice my host family was.
My host mom and dad were really nice people and they have a really kind dog. On some days their grandchildren visited us and we had dinner together. We often played a card game called skip bo, which was always fun. The activity I enjoyed the most was definitely speed boat….The lessons were really different from them in Germany but I enjoyed them a lot more because we were doing a lot of fun things while learning to speak and to understand English better…I would say I have improved my speaking a lot especially finding words is a bit easier now than it used to be. I gained a lot of experience in the language and I can speak more fluently and find the right words faster.
