Student Experience

My host family was absolutely perfect and loving. The host parents are both so nice and friendly and I was also worried about the food but it was super tasty. The children in the house were also so cute and kind. I love them all so much. Especially our flip7 games. And Whippy (the dog) is also so cute! I loved the day trip to York, it was so cool but the pottery painting and chocolate making were also super exciting and cool. What I liked about the lessons was that we did so different things every day. It was really fun. And Claire (I was in B-Level) is also a super kind and nice teacher. I really liked the beach in Scarborough and you could shop quite good…I think that you are in a host family is really good because you need to speak English with them and also with the teacher.

It was very nice and in the evening the whole family ate dinner. The food was very good. They always asked about the day and were really friendly.

We told our host family we liked certain biscuits and our host mother got them on the same day even though it was already pretty late. She also talked a lot with us and the cats were very friendly too.

They are really nice, we had good conversations and our host mother drove us everywhere. They are really friendly and helpful. I think they are one of the best host families.
