When I’ve heard about the Thomson English experience, I was immediately interested to take part. Now the two weeks are nearly over and I can say that I’ve made the right decision. To start over with my host family, I felt very welcomed and comfortable staying there for the next weeks. They were very nice, caring as well as friendly and enabled us to have a pleasant place to live during the trip. We had the chance to experience so many different things like surfing, visiting Whitby and York, trying traditional food, or spending our free time at the beach. We had several evening activities like karaoke and beach evenings, which made the time even more enjoyable. I like about Scarborough that it has so many different things to offer, whether interesting culture, a calming beach day, or going to cute cafes. Thanks to the friendly people, it was easy to make new friends. The collective lessons in the morning encouraged us to speak more English. That’s why you start to get more confident by speaking English. In conclusion, I’ve not only got more confident in my English, I made new friends and had the chance to collect more beautiful experiences.
