North York Moors

A National Park since 1952, the North York Moors is one of England’s most beautiful areas.

This national park contains mile after mile of heather moorland, pine forests, rolling hills and unspoilt coastline. In the summer when the heather is in bloom whole hills are covered in purple flowers.

We see the North York Moors when we visit Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay.
