The Grand Hotel
The Grand Hotel is one of Scarborough’s most famous buildings.
When it was built in the 1850s it was the largest hotel in Europe. From the air, the building is shaped like a ‘V’, which is said to be in honour of Queen Victoria, during whose reign the hotel was built.
